This is Pastor Daniel Maqsood, and today I bring you a prophetic word of hope and victory.
As I was praying, the Holy Spirit spoke this phrase to me:
‘The trap opens, favor runs behind you.’
Some of you have been walking through seasons where it felt like the enemy set traps to stop your progress.
But I have good news—what was meant to harm you is about to backfire, and the favor of God is about to overtake you.”
🌟 Section 1 – Understanding the Trap
“Throughout Scripture, we see the enemy setting traps for God’s people.
Psalm 141:9 says, ‘Keep me from the snares they have laid for me, from the traps set by evildoers.’
Maybe you’ve faced betrayal, false accusations, or unexpected setbacks.
Perhaps it felt like doors were closing and people were plotting against you.
But hear this: every trap the enemy sets is already visible to God.
Before the snare is tightened, the Lord has already planned your escape route.”
🌟 Section 2 – When the Trap Opens
“When the trap opens, it’s not by your strength—it’s by God’s intervention.
Think of Daniel in the lions’ den:
the trap was the decree, but God sent an angel to shut the lions’ mouths.
Think of Peter in prison:
chains fell off and doors opened on their own because of the prayers of the church.
Your trap—whether it’s a toxic relationship, a financial burden, or a spiritual attack—
is about to spring open.
The very thing that tried to confine you will become the testimony that sets you free.”
🌟 Section 3 – Favor Runs Behind You
“The Lord showed me a picture of favor chasing His children like a mighty current.
Psalm 23:6 declares, ‘Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.’
The word follow in Hebrew means to pursue aggressively.
That means God’s favor is not passive—it’s running after you.
Some of you are about to experience blessings you didn’t apply for,
opportunities you didn’t earn,
and relationships you didn’t seek.
Doors will open because the favor of God is in hot pursuit of your life.”
🌟 Section 4 – Your Response to the Prophetic Word
“Here’s how to align with this prophetic season:
✅ Stay Faithful in Prayer – Traps are broken when God’s people pray.
✅ Refuse to Fear – Fear gives power to the enemy; faith invites favor.
✅ Praise in Advance – Praise is a prophetic declaration that your escape and your blessing are already on the way.
Isaiah 54:17 reminds us, ‘No weapon formed against you shall prosper.’
The weapon may form, the trap may be set,
but it will not succeed because God’s favor is running behind you.”

“My beloved brothers and sisters,
hear this prophetic word one more time:
The trap opens, and favor runs behind you.
What the enemy designed for your downfall will become the very stage for your breakthrough.
Let’s pray together:
‘Father, I thank You for every person watching.
Expose every hidden trap of the enemy.
Open every door that has been locked.
Let Your favor overtake them in their homes, jobs, families, and ministries.
In the mighty name of Jesus, Amen.’
